The impressive part of your solution was the simplicity of it.

We'll definitely keep it in mind as an alternative to the complexity of other voice/ fax solutions.

As a consultant working in the Oil and Gas industry, one task required finding a wireless FAX solution for field technicians in remote locations.

After searching the Internet, Site Boss by NxGEN was the only product located with wireless FAX capabilities.

Although FAX was my main interest, Site Boss also comes equipped with a voice and network connection which I considered a bonus if the FAX portion worked as indicated on the web site.

After securing a proto-type unit for testing, we assigned the Site Boss to a tech without a home office and required driving over a very large maintenance area with low wireless signal strength. The tech would collect data and submit late at night when he was able to access the Internet.

What a treat!

The field technicians are now able to connect to the corporate network download daily work assignments and communicate with management, technical resources and material suppliers in real time and as needed. The FAX feature works flawlessly, Internet connectivity was instantaneous, stable (Site Boss Internet connection is faster then some land line sites) and the voice quality was excellent but experienced occasional dropped packets. With the release of the new Site Boss with the REV A modem this is no longer a concern.

Service is always prompt, friendly and most importantly, efficient. Josh has been very helpful to both me and our field staff. I can't stress how important it is to have an approachable, respectful, resourceful staff that always seems to go above and beyond.

The office staff at NxGen has been equally as amazing. They've worked with me to ensure that we're on a billing schedule that will work best for our needs. They understand that efficiency is important to me and always work to that end.

Other benefits we have realized are that the costs remain fixed with no long distance charges. Communication from project to project remains seamless, and if necessary lines can be suspended in the event there is a gap between projects.
