As not all carriers support t.38 and/or g.711 faxing over IP, NxGen is providing our resellers with a fax number portability tool that will help you determine if the rate centre you wish to port from can support Fax over IP. To prevent service interruptions after the fax number has been ported, please check the ax number before submitting the port request to ensure that the rate centre is suitable for Fx over IP.

NxGen can provide a toll free fax number at no additional costs when dealing with an exchange that doesn’t support Fax over IP.

This portability tool is for Canadian rate centres only. We cannot guarantee that this tool is 100% as changes to t.38 and g.711 compatibility can change without notice. NxGen will be updating this tool as carriers upgrade rate centres to become compatible with t.38 and g.711.
